Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of RouteWrk. We've written them to be readable. Please take a few minutes to review them before using the platform.

Last updated: September 21, 2026Effective: July 12, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you (or the organization you represent) and RouteWrk ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using any part of the RouteWrk platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using RouteWrk, including our website, web application, APIs, and any associated services (collectively, the "Service"), you confirm that:

You are at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher)

If acting on behalf of a company, you have the authority to bind that company to these Terms

You have read and agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll give you at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Accounts & eligibility

Registration

To access the Service you must register for an account with a valid email address. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date. Accounts may not be shared; each seat is for one individual.

Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately through our contact form if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your credentials.

Team workspaces

When you invite team members to your workspace, you are granting them access under the permissions you assign. You are responsible for the actions of invited users within your workspace. The workspace owner (the account that created it) is the contracting party and is responsible for ensuring compliance with these Terms by all members.

3. License to use the service

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and timely payment of any applicable fees, RouteWrk grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes.

This license does not include the right to: resell or sublicense the Service; access the Service to build a competing product; scrape, reverse engineer, or otherwise extract source code; or use the Service in a way that violates applicable law.

Evolving service. RouteWrk is under active development. Some features may be offered on a beta, preview, or early-access basis, and we may add, change, or remove functionality over time. Beta or preview features are provided "as is," may be less reliable than generally available features, and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

4. Your content

Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data, workflows, ticket content, files, and other materials you upload or create within the Service ("Your Content"). These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to RouteWrk.

License to RouteWrk

You grant RouteWrk a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, transmit, and display Your Content solely as necessary to operate and provide the Service to you. We do not use Your Content to train AI models or for any other purpose outside of service delivery.

Your representations

By uploading or creating content, you represent that:

You own or have the necessary rights to the content

The content does not violate any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights

If Your Content includes personal data of third parties (e.g. your customers), you have a lawful basis to process that data and have informed those individuals as required by applicable law

Data processing

To the extent Your Content includes personal data that RouteWrk processes on your behalf, you act as the data controller and RouteWrk acts as your processor (or "service provider"), and we process that data only to provide the Service as described in our Privacy Policy. If you require a Data Processing Addendum (DPA), for example to meet your obligations under Article 28 of the GDPR, one is available on request by contacting us.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights

Send spam, unsolicited communications, or conduct phishing campaigns

Introduce malware, viruses, or malicious code of any kind

Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related system

Interfere with or degrade the Service or its servers (e.g. denial-of-service attacks)

Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or usage restrictions

Use the Service to process or store data that is subject to HIPAA, PCI DSS, or other specialized compliance frameworks without our written agreement

Email you send through RouteWrk

RouteWrk lets you connect your own email account (such as Gmail) and send messages through it as part of your workflows. When you connect an account, you authorize us to access and send email through it on your behalf, solely to provide the features you configure. You are solely responsible for the content, recipients, and timing of every message sent through the Service, and for ensuring each send complies with applicable communications and anti-spam laws, including the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act, Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and the EU GDPR and e-Privacy rules. You represent that you have a lawful basis, and any consent required by law, to contact each recipient. RouteWrk provides suppression, unsubscribe, and abuse-reporting tools to assist with compliance, but responsibility for lawful use remains yours.

Workflows you build

You are responsible for ensuring that any workflow you build and operate on the Service complies with laws applicable to your use, including, where your workflows make automated decisions about individuals, any obligation to provide human review or other safeguards required by data-protection law (such as Article 22 of the GDPR).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy without prior notice. We reserve the right to report illegal activity to law enforcement.

6. Payment & billing

Free tier

RouteWrk offers a free tier with limits on workflows, team members, and ticket volume. We reserve the right to modify free-tier limits at any time with 30 days' notice.

Paid plans

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are stated in USD and are non-refundable except as expressly described below. By providing a payment method, you authorize us to charge you for the applicable plan and any usage overages.

Upgrades & downgrades

Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period; you retain access to the higher-tier features until then.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, we will retry up to three times over seven days and notify you by email. If payment is not resolved, we may downgrade your account to the free tier or suspend access until the balance is settled.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new paid subscriptions. To request a refund, contact us through our contact form within 14 days of your first charge. After that period, fees are non-refundable.

Taxes

Prices do not include applicable taxes. You are responsible for all taxes, levies, or duties imposed by your local authority. Where required by law, we will collect and remit such taxes.

Price changes

We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle following the notice period.

7. Intellectual property

RouteWrk IP

The Service, including its software, design, algorithms, user interface, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by RouteWrk and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in RouteWrk IP other than the limited license in Section 3.

Feedback

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service ("Feedback"), you grant RouteWrk a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use and incorporate that Feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the platform infringes your copyright, send a good-faith written notice identifying the copyrighted work and the allegedly infringing material through our contact form. We review and respond to legitimate copyright complaints and will remove or disable access to infringing content where appropriate.

8. Confidentiality

Each party ("Disclosing Party") may share non-public information with the other ("Receiving Party") in connection with the Service ("Confidential Information"). The Receiving Party agrees to:

Keep Confidential Information strictly confidential using at least reasonable care

Not disclose it to third parties without prior written consent, except to employees or contractors who need it to fulfill the agreement and are bound by equivalent obligations

Use Confidential Information only to exercise rights or fulfill obligations under these Terms

Confidential Information does not include information that is publicly known through no fault of the Receiving Party, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law (provided the Disclosing Party is given prompt written notice where permitted).

9. Disclaimers

The following limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROUTEWRK EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement

That the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components

That any results obtained from use of the Service will be accurate, reliable, or complete

10. Limitation of liability

These limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL ROUTEWRK, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR:

Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities

Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data

In all cases, our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amounts you paid to RouteWrk in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

11. Termination

By you

You may cancel your account at any time from your workspace settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You remain responsible for all charges incurred prior to cancellation.

By RouteWrk

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without notice if: (a) you breach these Terms and do not cure the breach within 7 days of notice; (b) you engage in fraudulent or illegal activity; (c) continued service would expose us to legal liability; or (d) we discontinue the Service with 30 days' notice.

Effect of termination

Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends immediately. We will retain Your Content for 30 days after termination. During that window you may request a copy of it through our contact form. After 30 days, we will delete it in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sections 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.

12. Dispute resolution & governing law

Informal resolution first

Before filing any legal claim, the parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution. Contact us through our contact form with a description of the dispute. We will work with you for at least 30 days before either party may pursue formal proceedings.

Binding arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in the State of California, or remotely if both parties agree. The arbitrator's decision is final and binding. You and RouteWrk each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action.

Small claims exception

Either party may bring qualifying claims in small claims court in lieu of arbitration, provided the dispute remains in small claims court and is not removed or appealed to a court of general jurisdiction.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. For users in the EEA or UK, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply in addition to these Terms.

13. General provisions

Entire agreement

These Terms (including the Privacy Policy and any order forms) constitute the entire agreement between you and RouteWrk regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.

Severability

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect, and the invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment

You may not assign these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. RouteWrk may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets.

Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond their reasonable control, including natural disasters, infrastructure outages, or government actions.

Notices

We may send notices to the email address associated with your account. You may send notices to us at the contact address in Section 14. Notices are deemed received when sent, for email, or when delivered, for postal mail.
