Kanban Board

See what's waiting, and act on it.

Every workspace has a board. Tickets waiting on an approval, a checklist, a draft review or a photo selection surface as cards by stage, and you clear them without leaving the board.

By stage

A board of exactly the work that needs a person

This is not a list of everything. The board shows the tickets your workflow has parked, grouped by what they are parked on, so the column heading is already the answer to what do I do with this.

Columns are stages of waiting: approvals, checklists, draft reviews, photo selection
Cards carry their ticket id and stage, so nothing needs opening to be understood
Clearing a card advances the workflow: the ticket moves to its next step on its own

In the flow of work

Decide it, don't schedule a meeting about it

A queue only helps if acting on it is faster than ignoring it. Approvals, checklist items and drafted replies are all one click from the card, and when something needs another person, mention them and their bell lights up.

Approve, tick, or review without opening the ticket
@mentions reach a real notification, not another inbox to check
Every action lands in the ticket's history: who decided what, and when
WO-1039 · internal note

@marcus the vendor wants access before 8am. Can you confirm the key handoff?

What else the board does

Enough to run the day from one screen.

Act on a card in place

Approve or reject, tick checklist items off, review a drafted email before it sends. The decision happens on the board. You are not bounced into a detail screen to click one button.

New Ticket, right there

Something arrives by phone or in the hallway. Create the ticket from the board and it enters the workspace workflow at the Manual trigger.

@mention a teammate

Mention someone in a note and it hits their notification bell with an unread badge, on whatever device they are signed in on.

An owner of record

Every ticket can carry one assignee: picker, Take it to self-assign, an Assignee column in the list and an Assigned to me filter. Assigning never advances the workflow.

A board per workspace

Work Orders and Accounts Payable each get their own board, driven by their own workflow, so a stage means the same thing to everyone looking at it.

And a view across all of them

The Dashboard My Work lens gathers everything needing a human across every workspace you can see, grouped by status and sorted priority-then-age.
